Finally, after weeks of waiting patiently the Chia Cat arrived. I could hardly contain myself as I un-boxed it.

Complete with instructions, I was careful to follow them to the letter. No cutting corners with this much at stake.

Well I had the best of intentions, but two minutes into this project I was already cutting corners. For some reason the Chia Cat people want you to cover the planter with a saucer after watering. Not having a saucer that would fit properly over Sylvester and Tweety, I had to improvise with an old cool whip lid. Hopefully this doesn’t cause some sort of strange Chia Cat mutation or worse yet, if the Chia Cat people discover I didn’t follow their instructions to the letter, some jack-booted Chia Cat Nazi might show up at my door. Hmmm, I’d better keep the blinds pulled for a couple of days.
